LBMS GAME RESULTS VS. SOUTH BELTON
Game Summary:
Lake Belton MS sweeps South Belton Middle School. All grade levels handle their business with a sweep.
7th grade Red Team: Won 33-10
The red team played great defense against the Tigers allowing them 4 points in 1st quarter and only 2 points in each remaining quarter of the game
Scorers for the game: Daiidrion Glover-Gonzalez, Preston Bragg, Jonathan Johnson 6 points, Jeremiah Rivas 5 points, Jaden Onchweri, Mason Brown 3 points, and Grayson Bradley, Grayson Williams 2 points.
The 7th Grade Silver Team. Won 43-18
The Broncos would get off to a great start in the 1st half leading the Tigers 28 to 10. In the second half the Broncos only allowed the Tigers 8 points.
Scorers for the game: Lawson Phillips 15 points, Ke’Andre Bradley 6 points, Harrison Fryar 4 points, Gage Wieters and Bryson Diaz 3 points, Jet Turner, Blain Johnson, Zaidyn Sanchez, Wyatt Bullard, Robert Gudgen, Joel Ihekoronye all with 2 points.
The 8th grade Red Team: Won 28-25
The Red team would have a great game against South Belton. The Broncos offense was led by Carson Kukulski. It was a total team effort on defense to hold off the Tigers.
Scorers for the game: Kukulski with 9 points, Makalyn Harrison with 8 points, Michael Brooks-Davis with 6 points, Caleb Eckert with 3points, and Nidon Shin with 2 points.
Strong defensive performances came from Roman Zaragoza and Charlie Valish.
The 8th Grade Silver Team: Won 29-22
In the last game of the night the Broncos would get off to a slow start until some needed pressure was applied. This would get the Broncos started. Lake would hold off the Tigers offense and take control of the game to secure the win.
Scorers for the game: Tiger Maxwell with 10 points, Braxton Bronson 8 points, Carter Johnson 5 points, Athan Reyna with 4 points, and Tristan Cannady and Jacob Sullivan each contributed 1 point.
The team’s next game will be on the road at River Valley Middle School in Waco on Thursday, January 16th. Game times are 5:30 and 6:30pm.
