Lake Belton Broncos Dominate Belton Tigers 36-20 in Rivalry Showdown
The Lake Belton Broncos Silver secured a commanding 36-20 victory over the Belton Tigers in an intense crosstown rivalry game. This win showcased the Broncos' grit and talent on both sides of the ball, with standout performances from key players and a physical defense that smothered Belton’s run game.
Wide receiver Triston Waller set the tone early with an electrifying long touchdown reception, giving the Broncos an early boost. Waller’s play sparked the Broncos offense, which operated with precision all night, thanks to stellar protection from the offensive line. The O-line was a fortress, giving running back Braxton Bronson plenty of time to make decisions and creating holes for the running game.
Bronson himself had a highlight moment, connecting on a long halfback screen for a touchdown, evading defenders on his way to the end zone. Kayden Bridges added to the offensive onslaught with a dominant performance, scoring not only on the ground with a powerful rushing touchdown but also on special teams, returning a kickoff for a touchdown that left the crowd roaring.
On the defensive side, the Broncos were equally impressive, delivering a physical performance that left the Tigers searching for answers. The defensive line, led by Alex Carter and Jason Pajuelo, controlled the line of scrimmage all night. Carter and Pajuelo were relentless, racking up multiple tackles for losses and consistently disrupting Belton’s rushing attack, which struggled to gain momentum.
The energy on the sideline was palpable, with players cheering each other on and celebrating every big play. This was more than just a game; it was a statement of unity for the Broncos. Every player contributed in some way, making this a true team victory.
The Broncos’ 36-20 triumph over the Tigers sends a clear message: this is a team built to win, with contributions from all phases of the game. With the playoffs looming, Lake Belton is peaking at the right time, and their performance in this rivalry matchup proves they are a force to be reckoned with.
