LBMS 8TH GRADE FOOTBALL RESULTS VS TRAVIS

Lake Belton Broncos Dominate Travis Mustangs with 32-0 Victory The Lake Belton Middle School Broncos showcased their dominance on both sides of the ball in a commanding 32-0 victory over the Travis Mustangs on Tuesday night. The Broncos’ offense was firing on all cylinders, led by standout performances from running back Jose Puente and receiver Roman Zaragoza. Puente found the end zone twice, breaking through the Travis defense with powerful runs. Zaragoza added two touchdowns of his own, proving to be a key target for the Broncos’ offense. He also contributed by kicking an extra point. Titan Tuggle rounded out the offensive explosion with a touchdown reception from quarterback Carter Johnson, capping off a well-rounded performance by Lake Belton. On the defensive side, the Broncos were relentless, with linebackers Nick Villarreal and Jordan Bevel leading the charge with hard-hitting plays that kept the Mustangs in check all night. The defense also forced multiple turnovers, with Weston Marshall and Heston Seideman each snagging an interception. Villarreal continued his standout play with a fumble recovery, adding to the Broncos’ defensive dominance. With this win, the Broncos improved their record to 3 wins and 0 loses. They will look to continue their momentum next Tuesday, October 8, when they face the Lamar Bearkats at Bronco Stadium.
