LBMS 7TH GRADE BOYS RESULTS VS. MIDWAY
Lake Belton 7A and 7B Faces Tough Loss Looks Ahead to Next Challenge
In a closely contested match, the Lake Belton Silver Team experienced a setback, falling 34 to 20 at Midway. Leading the scoring efforts were Jaden Gomez and Tiger Maxwell, each contributing 5 points, followed by Athan Reyna and Eric Harness with 4 points each. Kyson Fish and Tristan Cannady added 1 point each to the team's total.
On the defensive front, standout performances were delivered by Braxton Bronson, Eric Harness, and Athan Reyna, showcasing their resilience and determination on the court.
Despite the defeat, the team remains focused and is gearing up for the next challenge. The upcoming game is scheduled at River Valley Middle School on Wednesday, January 31, with a tip-off set for 5:30 PM. Lake Belton Silver team is determined to bounce back and showcase their skills in the pursuit of victory.
In the second game of the night our Red Team Broncos Experience another Nail-Biter against Midway ultimately coming up short with a final score of 26 to 25. The game was marked by intense moments, with both teams showcasing their skills and determination on the court.
The leading scorers for the Lake Belton Middle School Broncos were Briggs Robin, who contributed an impressive 12 points, followed by Andrew McGuire with 5 points, Carter Johnson with 4 points, Michael Brooks-Davis with 3 points, and James Kelly securing 1 point. Their combined efforts on the offensive end demonstrated the team's versatility and determination to put points on the board.
The defensive prowess of the Broncos was equally commendable, with standouts including Briggs Robin, James Kelly, Carter Johnson, Alfonso Thompson, and Caleb Eckert.
