Huge congratulations to the Bronco Tennis Team for an outstanding performance and a hard-fought victory against Vanguard College Preparatory School! In a tightly contested matchup that came right down to the wire, the Broncos edged out the Vikings with a final score of 12 to 11. We have some fantastic individual milestones to celebrate from this match: First, Dvita Kapopara stepped onto the court for her very first competitive tennis match and delivered an incredible performance, decisively defeating her opponent 6 to 3. Siwoo Yu and Chase Young teamed up to secure a phenomenal victory in their debut doubles appearance, showing great chemistry on the court to win 6 to 4. We also made school history! For the first time at LBMS, two of our Lady Broncos, Emily Naumann and Makenzie Hicks took on Vanguard boys' doubles team and absolutely swept them with a dominant 6 to 0 victory. Our boys commanded the rest of the doubles bracket, winning 4 of their 7 matches overall. Let's hear it for the dynamic duos of Graham Wiseman and Dylan Kruppa, William Hill and Lucas Xiao, and Charlie Fatter and Andy Torres, who all defeated their opponents with decisive 6 to 1 victories. In the boys' singles matches, the Broncos secured 6 hard-fought wins. Graham Wiseman led the charge with a flawless 6 to 0 shutout. William Hill, Lucas Xiao, and Charlie Fatter followed suit with strong 6 to 1 and 6 to 2 finishes. Dylan Kruppa and Samuel Stephens also battled hard to claim important victories, winning 7 to 5 and 6 to 3, respectively. Go Broncos!
