LBMS 7TH GRADE FOOTBALL GAME RESULT VS. S.C. LEE MS

Lake Red ran into a buzz saw at Bulldawg Stadium, falling to S. C. Lee Red by a final score of 33–0. Lake Red was led offensively by running back Major Wade, who had several big runs throughout the game. Wade appeared to have a 68-yard touchdown run, but the play was called back because of a penalty. Defensively, Lake Red played well during the first quarter and kept S. C. Lee off the scoreboard. However, Lee changed the momentum with a Hail Mary touchdown pass. After the touchdown, Lee attempted an onside kick and successfully recovered it. With the Lake Red defense forced back onto the field just three plays later, S. C. Lee scored again to take a 14–0 lead into halftime. S. C. Lee opened the third quarter with another scoring drive, extending its lead to 21–0. Lake Red responded with a strong offensive drive, but penalties stalled the drive. On the ensuing punt, the ball was muffed, allowing Lee to take possession at the Lake Red 11-yard line. S. C. Lee scored on the very next play to make the score 28–0. Lee added another touchdown in the fourth quarter to close out the scoring, making the final S. C. Lee Red 33, Lake Red 0. Defensively, Joshua Brewer, Noah Stokes, and Major Wade played well and continued to compete throughout the game.
