Lake Red returned from the holiday break in strong fashion, defeating Travis Red 36–24 in a solid team performance. Gregory Hemm led all scorers with 11 points, setting the tone offensively. Isaak Sebek followed with 9 points, while Colin McKinney added 8. Kellen Maybin, Luke Johnston, Zayne Tanner, and Jonah Kellogg each chipped in 2 points to round out the scoring. Defensively, Lake Red was just as impressive, with strong efforts from Zayne Tanner, Chris Humphrey, Gregory Hemm, Jonah Kellough, Isaak Sebek, and Giovanni Terry, helping limit Travis Red throughout the game. Lake Silver Pulls Away to Defeat Travis Mustangs Lake Silver earned a convincing 47–26 victory over the Travis Mustangs with a balanced offensive and defensive effort. Brody Rosenbaum led the scoring attack with 11 points, followed closely by Andrew Phillips with 10. Felix Gomez added 8 points, while Jonathan Dwyer chipped in 7. Kevin Saunders scored 4 points, Jace Moon added 3, and Kane Mansfield and Bowen Williams each finished with 2 points. On the defensive end, Lake Silver turned in a strong team performance. Kory Kingston, Bowen Williams, Brody Rosenbaum, Anders Phillips, Felix Gomez, Jace Moon, and Kevin Saunders all played key roles in limiting the Mustangs’ offense. Lake Silver will be back in action on Thursday, January 15, when they face North Belton at Lake Belton High School.
