LBMS GAME RESULTS VS. BONHAAM
The 8th grade Lake Belton Red Team Broncos hit the road on Wednesday, December 3rd, taking on the Bonham Bulldogs in a matchup defined by early momentum and tough defensive stands. Lake Belton set the tone immediately, jumping out to a strong first-quarter lead behind an impressive performance from Gage Wieters, who posted 7 points in the opening period.
Bonham tightened defensively in the second quarter, challenging the Broncos’ offense and slowing the scoring pace. The Bulldogs capitalized on the shift, chipping away at the deficit and pulling within five by halftime. The Broncos held the lead heading into the break, 13–8.
After halftime, Lake Belton regained control. The Broncos erupted for 11 points in the third quarter, rebuilding their cushion and swinging the momentum firmly back in their favor. Strong team play and disciplined defense carried them the rest of the way, securing a 26–14 victory.

The 8th Grade Bronco Silver Team hit the road on Wednesday, December 3rd, traveling to Bonham to take on the Bulldogs in their second game of the season. From the opening tip, the Broncos controlled the pace, using a fast-tempo offense to set the tone early.
The first quarter belonged to the Broncos, who exploded for 18 points behind the hot hand of Jeremiah Larkin, who poured in 9 of his team-high 13 points in the opening period. Bonham struggled to match the pace, and the Broncos’ defensive pressure allowed them to build a commanding 24–7 halftime lead.
The momentum carried into the third quarter, as the Broncos continued to execute on both ends of the floor. With contributions across the roster, they extended their lead to 36–10 heading into the final period.
Bonham found its rhythm in the fourth quarter, putting up an impressive 18 points, but the early deficit proved too much to overcome. The Broncos maintained their composure and closed out the game to secure a 45–28 victory.
