LBMS GIRLS WIN 3 OUT OF 4 AGAINST BONHAM
In the home opener, the LBMS girls basketball teams won 3 games against the Bonham Bulldogs.
The Bronco 8th grade B team did a great job on defense and held off Bonham to get the win by a score of 22-15. High Point for the game was Kassidee Harding with 7 points. Imani Fisher, Zamia Rodriguez, and Reagan Lopez each had 4 points. Great job Broncos, keep up the good work.
The 8th grade A basketball team faced Boham and secured a commanding win with a final score of 46-8. Caitlin Stringer was the offensive player of the game, contributing 21 points. Our defensive player of the game was Kaidyn Leonard, her defensive prowess, effectively controlled the game's pace.
The 7th grade B team Lake Belton Broncos won their second game of the season against the Bonham Bulldogs by the score of 15-7. The Broncos played great defense holding the Bulldogs to just 3 points until the quarter. The players of the game goes to Logan Stahl and Alana McCoy.
The 7th grade A team fought hard all night against an aggressive Bonham team, but unfortunately couldn't come away with a win losing by 3 points, 23-26. Laynie Wurts lead the team in scoring with 8 points. Charlie Stawski and Sydney Harvey both scored 6 points a piece. Emma Goodnight closed out the scoring with 2 points.
