In a showdown at Lake Belton High School against fellow Broncos from North, LBMS was able to walk away winning 3 out of the 4 matches. The 7th grade A team won in two sets against North Belton MS. The team started slow, but came through strong during set 2, winning 25-16 and 25-7. Great job Lake! Players of the game were Abby Malone and Stella Beronio. The 7th grade B team LBMS Broncos won their seventh game of the season against the North Belton Broncos. They won in 2 sets, winning set one, 25-19 and winning set 25-16. The Broncos improve to 7-0 on the season and the players of the game goes to Lucy Mahone and Jenna Taylor. In the 8B game, Lake dropped the first set to North 25-14. Lake battled back in the second set to win 25-22. In the third and final set, Lake and North went back and forth til the very end with North coming out on top 16-14. Players of the game were Tessa Williams and Macey Brent. In the 8A game, Lake put the pressure on early and were able to take care of business in a two set victory 25-17 and 25-14. The whole team stepped up to secure the win.
