The Lake Belton Middle School Broncos swept the Travis Mustangs in last night's volleyball games. 7A came out on top in a tight two set game against the Travis Mustangs. Strong serving and fearless defense helped the Broncos win 25-16 and 27-25. Great game and team effort ladies! #Broncosforward The 7th grade B team LBMS Broncos won the sixth game of the season against the Travis Mustangs. They won in two sets 25-22 and 25-22 to improve to 6-0 in the regular season. The player of the game goes to Raina Jain and Willa Nanney. The 8th grade B team won in two sets 25-12 and 25-19. The Broncos started off strong in the first set and carried that momentum in to set two. Macey Brent was player of the game with a great serving game getting 14 service points. The 8th grade A team ended the night with a two set sweep over the Mustangs 25-13 and 25-19. Callie Ables had a good night at the service line and did a great job setting up the offensive attack. Next Thursday, Lake will face North at LBHS in the Battle of the Broncos.
