The LBMS Broncos dominated the competition this weekend in the Belton ISD tournament. Overall, the Broncos went 11-1. The 7th grade A team went 3-0 for the Belton ISD tournament, on their way to becoming the tournament Champions. The Broncos beat South Belton 25-9, 25-5, Belton Middle 25-21, 25-23, and North Belton 25-2, 25-11. The whole team stepped up and contributed to having a gold winning tournament. Great work ladies. #Broncosforward #Riseup The 7th grade B team also went 3-0 on the day and won the 7B division. They defeated South in 2 sets, Belton Middle in 3 sets, and North in 2 sets. The 8th grade B team finished the day 2-1. They defeated South in two sets 25-12 and 25-17. Then defeated Belton Middle in 3 sets 23-25, 25-12, 15-9. Their only loss came against North in a tough 3 sets match. The 8th grade A team went 3-0 on the day to win the tournament. They won first match of the day against South in two sets 25-11 and 25-16. Next they faced Belton Middle and won again in two sets 25-12 and 25-13. In the final match of the day, Lake had to battle back from a first set loss against North 18-25. Lake would take the second and third set to claim the championship 25-19 and 15-9.
