The Lake 8th Grade Red football team earned a hard-fought 15–8 victory over the Lamar Bearkats. On offense, Jett Turner, Conner Krueger, and Finn Fowler led the charge, with strong support from the offensive line. Jaxon Smith, Colton Rush, Max Cacique, Aldemar Viveros, Bentley Ayers, Hunter Davilla, Samson Folkerts and Lucas Bower. Defensively, Mateo Vela-Rios, Jacob Chin, Will Reinhardt, Kaden Carter, Daniel Sommers, and the defensive linemen delivered an outstanding performance to secure the win. Ayers, Viveros and Cacique. The 8th grade Bronco Silver Team delivered a commanding performance, defeating the Bearcats 38-6 in a well-rounded showing on both sides of the ball. The win showcased a balanced team effort. Defensive standouts included Wyatt Bullard and Preston Bragg, who consistently disrupted the Bearcat offense. On the offensive side, Blaine Johnson, Lawson Phillips, Aden Donaldson, and Robert Gudgen led the way with big plays and efficient execution. With this victory, the Broncos improve their record and carry momentum into their bye week. They’ll return to action on Tuesday, September 30th, with a home matchup against River Valley Middle School. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00 PM and 6:15 PM.
