The LBMS Cross Country team traveled to Tenroc Ranch in Salado to compete. Our 7th Grade Girls excelled, securing 1st place in their division. Laynie Wurts finished 1st overall with a remarkable 2-mile time of 14:30, while Elyannah Hummel earned 9th place overall with a time of 15:00. Every one of our 7th grade girls performed exceptionally well. The 8th Grade Girls also had a strong showing, finishing in 2nd place in their division. Sage Anderson led the team with a 7th place overall finish and a time of 13:44, followed closely by Hannah Dickinson in 13th place with a time of 14:45. Although the 7th and 8th grade boys did not achieve a team placement, but they put forth commendable efforts. I am truly impressed by these exceptional athletes! Well done, everyone!
